Task Description:

First assure you are on a new worksheet.

Tasks to complete:

Task List:

Move Profit to the Rows and Quantity to the Columns. Change to AVG aggregator for both.

Move Country to the Detail portion of the Marks table.

Select the points on the left similar to the second image of the text. Right click and select Group.

You should see Country (group) added to the Dimensions in the left margin.

Click the drop down menu for your new group, select Edit, and change the name.

Create a new worksheet.

Double click Country and select the shaded map from the Show Me table.

Now move your newly created group to the Color portion of the Marks table.

Assure your map looks like the one below.

Nice job! You might group items for lots of reasons. Most often it occurs when you find a certain observations in a histogram or scatterplot, and you want to see how they are related to other parts of your data.
